International Standard Version
4 The Lord spoke to you face to face on the mountain from the fire. 5 I stood at that time as mediator[a] between the Lord and you to declare his[b] message to you, because you were afraid of the fire and would not go up the mountain. He said:
| א[c] | 6 “‘I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt—from the house of slavery. |
